Heatwave Preparedness lunchtime learning online workshop

As summer approaches and higher than average temperatures are expected across most of the state, can I encourage you to prepare yourselves and those around you in your community with some very practical solutions.
Red Cross is providing an online 1 hour workshop for you and anyone interested in heatwave preparedness. The 1 hour online workshop will take place on Tuesday the 30th of September from 12pm-1pm, and I expect you will leave with some very practical heatwave helps that are invaluable in bushfire activations and in and around your community when temperatures are extreme.
You might even be able to share some of your learnings in a one on one conversation or a group of more vulnerable people.
To register, please click here or on the image above. Once registered you will receive an email from zoom which will have a link to the training. This link will be active 30 minutes prior to the training event. Get on early to make sure sound and picture is working well.
Let’s be prepared this summer as well as ambassadors for extreme heat preparedness in our communities and across our relationships.
Thanks for your consideration,
I look forward to seeing you online.
